Never Give Up

It was her first and last chance to get the job that she was always dreaming at. After a long time of looking for it, she was so excited about that. But in the day of the interview, she was late, she was running to catch the bus, unfortunately it has already left. She lost hope, lost her last opportunity for her, she lost everything. She looked sad and pessimistic. And then she took a seat near an old man, wearing dirty clothes and wrinkles on his face with innocent features. She didn’t pay attention to him, he asked her quietly and a smile on his face: 
_ what’s up daughter?
She raised her head carefully, looked at him smiling, and she answered 
_ I am not lucky sir all, what happened in my life it’s just a lie, I don’t know why I can’t be happy for once.
_ I saw that u missed the bus, there is always a second chance, why did you say that you are not lucky? All what is happening is for a reason. So just be happy.
_How can I be happy and I lost my last hope to be an active citizen. I want to work sir I don’t want to be burden on somebody.
The old man smiled and he said:
_ I see that you are very ambitious , you remind me by my son. He is exactly like you. When he wants something, he insisted to get it. Sometimes he fails, but he is so patient, he doesn’t lose hope he always tries to choose the right way to deal with his problems, he is optimistic and that’s what I want you to do. Believe in depths of yourself that you can and nothing can stop you, even if missing a bus. Also don’t forget that there is always a hope and keep smiling, that will help you for sure.
She hopefully said:
_ thanks sir, I think I learnt from you this morning a true lesson, I will keep it here. (Referring to her heart) and she smiled.
Suddenly, another bus was coming, they exchanged smiles. The old man said to the girl
_ this is the second opportunity. Take it. I wish you good luck and be sure that I will be always here to help you and stand by you, daughter.
She smiled and she rid the bus thinking in the old man’s words. And she had just discovered that she didn’t ask him for his name. Then she turned back to say good bye but she didn’t find him. But she didn’t lose hope because he will be in the same place waiting for her tomorrow…
